Bito is continuously working to make AI-powered development smoother and more efficient. This week, we’re introducing updates that give you more control over AI models, free PR summaries for all users, and a simplified AI Code Review Agent setup.

  • o3-mini is now available, giving you more control over AI models.
  • AI-generated pull request summaries are available free, for all plans.
  • Setup the AI Code Review Agent in just a few clicks.

Learn more:

1. o3-mini Model Selection in Bito’s IDE Extension

Choosing the right AI model for coding assistance isn’t always one-size-fits-all. Some questions need quick answers, while others require more depth. That’s why we’ve added o3-Mini as a new AI model for our IDE extension with three tuning options:

  • o3-mini Low – Fastest response time for simple coding queries
  • o3-mini Medium – Balanced speed and depth for everyday use
  • o3-mini High – More accurate reasoning for complex technical discussions

We’ve also changed the default model for Advanced Chat from GPT-4o to o3-Mini Medium. If you prefer a different option, you can switch to another model anytime.

This update gives you more flexibility to adjust AI performance based on what you need in the moment.

2. AI-Powered PR Summaries are Free for Everyone

Bito’s AI Code Review Agent generates free AI-powered PR summaries for GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket users.

These summaries provide a quick, structured breakdown of changes, helping you get context fast without manually sifting through every commit. Whether you’re looking for added tests, refactored logic, or security updates, Bito highlights the key modifications so you can focus on what matters.

AI-generated PR Review

This feature was previously available only on paid plans, but we’re making it free for everyone.

3. Setting up the AI Code Review Agent Now Takes Just a Few Clicks

Before this update, setting up AI-powered code reviews required manually configuring webhooks for GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. It worked, but it wasn’t the most intuitive process.

Now, Bito handles the setup for you. Instead of manually adding webhooks, you can just connect your repository, and the AI Code Review Agent will start working automatically.

For anyone already using a manually configured agent, nothing changes. Your setup will continue working. But for new users, this update removes an extra step and makes it much easier to start using AI for code reviews.

This means:

  • Faster setup – get started in minutes without digging into settings
  • Less manual work – just connect Bito to your repo and start reviewing
  • A better onboarding experience – especially for teams new to AI-powered code reviews

If you’re still on the manual setup, you can switch to the new version anytime for a smoother experience.

We’re Building for You

Every update we release is based on how developers like you use Bito. From streamlining PR reviews and improving AI assistance to optimizing workflows, our goal is to help you focus on writing great code without unnecessary distractions.

Try out these updates and let us know what you think. Your feedback helps us improve. You can always reach us at support@bito.ai. More updates coming soon. Stay tuned. 🚀
