Each week, we ship new updates that make Bito’s AI Code Review Agent more powerful, usable, and developer-friendly. This week, we’re giving Bitbucket users more control during reviews and making GitHub review threads easier to follow.
Let’s break it down.
Improved comment threading in GitHub
We’ve redesigned how comments appear in GitHub PRs to reduce clutter and make reviews easier to follow.
What’s improved:
- Changelist first: Bito now posts a clear changelist summary before any suggestions, so reviewers get a high-level overview right away.
- Unified threads: The overview comment is now posted in the same thread as suggestions, reducing noise and improving flow.
This update helps streamline PR conversations and cuts down the time needed to scroll and search for context.
Request changes now available for Bitbucket
You can now mark Bito’s inline suggestions as “Request Changes” in Bitbucket pull requests. This brings parity with GitHub’s existing functionality and helps teams communicate critical issues with more clarity and authority.
Why it matters:
- Clearly signal which suggestions block approval.
- Align review expectations across platforms.
- Improve PR hygiene and team collaboration.
Whether you’re reviewing critical fixes or architecture-level changes, this feature makes sure your feedback has the right weight.
Better reviews, less overhead
These updates continue our commitment to building a developer-first experience. Whether your team works in GitHub or Bitbucket or GitLab, you now get better control and a cleaner review interface.
We ship improvements like these every week based on how developers use Bito in real workflows. Want to see how Bito speeds up reviews and improves code quality for your team?
